It’s no doubt dated now, but this heist movie starring Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway was considered pretty hot stuff back in 1968. The 1999 remake is probably sexier, but this certainly has its merits, especially the cast (which also includes Jack Weston and Yaphet Kotto). Norman Jewison directed. R, 102 min. (JR)
