It takes us all the way from an early film by Bruce Conner (Cosmic Ray, 1961) and an excerpt from Nam June Paik’s 1973 Global Groove to some fascinating recent explorations by Kit Fitzgerald and Paul Garrin (with Ryuichi Sakamoto), Bob Snyder (with his own music), and Carole Ann Klonarides and Michael Owen (with Christian Marclay).
