A murky, pretentious, unpleasant macho parable (2001) from Spanish filmmaker Juan Carlos Fresnadillo about a holocaust survivor (Max von Sydow) who runs a casino and is obsessed with other people’s luck, especially people who, like himself, have survived disasters.
