This Manhattan-based romantic comedy might be fun if it didn’t hit you over the head with a sledgehammer every few minutes. The title heroine (Jada Pinkett Smith) goes on a blind date with a law clerk (Tommy Davidson) and everything goes wrong (cf After Hours).
